Húsvét: a feltámadás ünnepe

Cardinal Péter Erdő, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest and Primate of Hungary, lectures on the holiday of Easter, a festival of paramount importance to Christians. The Passover of the Old Testament and the Easter of the New Testament commemorate two different events, yet they convey a common message. This lecture provides an insight into what Easter means to a Christian. Within Christianity, Easter is the festival of resurrection. Belief in resurrection is the basis of the Christian faith. The resurrection has a central role in Christian liturgy and symbolism.
